The Contemporary

The “Contemporary” is the most modern depiction of Catrina. Commissioned by the Day of the Dead event to represent the poster and other marketing materials. One of the main uses for the art is the Event t-shirt so it was decided that the final file for printing needed to be a vector digital file. First I sketched then digitize, painted and then print and embellish.
